Electric violinist Cathy Morris has a passion for sharing music with audiences of all ages and everyone can tell! With a presentation that virtually commands the listener's eyes and ears she conveys her genuine enthusiasm for music and life! Combining contemporary jazz with latin rhythms, funk grooves, fusion, rock, blues and even cajun fun she has created her own distinctive sound that she calls "Party Jazz". A staple in the Midwest Arts Community for over 15 yrs Cathy’s career includes nine CDs of original music and arrangements, performances for celebrities, political figures and visiting dignitaries, at music and jazz festivals and concert stages in and outside the US, warming up for countless national artists and playing opening ceremonies for both the Formula One & Indy 500 races in front audiences of over 250,000.
